This site is run by volunteers of the Academy for Enriched Sciences (AES) Parent Teacher Association in Encino, California, to manage enrollment in the National PTA Reflections Art Program. It is not operated by the school or by LAUSD.
When a parent or guardian enrolls a student, we collect what the enrollment form asks for: the student's first and last name, grade, and teacher; the parent or guardian's name, email address, and optional phone number; the arts category, working title, artist statement, and any notes; and whether the family is willing to volunteer.
When you sign in, we receive the email address you signed in with. If you use Google sign-in, we also receive your name as shown on your Google account. We do not receive your password, contacts, calendar, or anything else from your Google account, and we never post on your behalf.
Like every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as IP address and browser type in its logs.
We do not sell this information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone outside the AES PTA Reflections committee and the PTA organisations named above.
Enrollment records are stored with our hosting provider, Netlify, in the United States. Only the Reflections committee members on an approved list can view the roster, and each must sign in to do so. Emails are sent through Resend.
We keep enrollment records until the Reflections program year closes in spring, then delete them. Entries that advance beyond AES are handled by the PTA organisation they advance to, under their own policies.
This site is for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. Student information is entered by a parent or guardian on the student's behalf.
You can ask us to correct or delete your family's enrollment at any time by emailing submissions@aesreflections.com. If you would rather not use the site at all, email us and we will enroll your student by hand.
